Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 September 2026

This policy describes what happens to information when you read veloxnetwork.online. It is short because the site does very little: there is no form, no account, no newsletter, no analytics and no cookie. What remains is described below without padding, because a policy that describes collection which does not happen is worse than useless.

1. Who is responsible

This policy is written with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles in mind, because the site is written for readers in Australia. Section 11 covers the position under European data protection law, which applies to the company as a Czech entity.

2. What is actually collected

Three things, and nothing else.

Nothing through the site itself: There is no contact form, no search box, no comment field, no newsletter sign-up, no quiz, no account and no chat widget anywhere on veloxnetwork.online. There is no field for you to type into, so no information is submitted by you while reading.
Server logs kept by the hosting provider: Like any web server, the machine serving these pages records each request: the IP address the request came from, the user agent string the browser sends, the URL requested, the time, the response code and the number of bytes returned. An IP address can be personal information, which is why it is described here rather than dismissed.
Emails you choose to send: If you write to the address above, the message is received and stored in the publisher's mailbox, including your email address, your name if you give one, and anything else you put in the message.

No cookies are set by this site and no third party is permitted to set one through it. Nothing is written to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. No analytics, advertising, measurement or fingerprinting technology is present. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.

3. Why each category is held, and on what basis

Server logs exist to keep the site available and secure: to diagnose errors, to identify abusive traffic such as automated scraping or attempted intrusion, and to confirm that pages are being served correctly. They are not analysed to build a picture of individual readers, and they are not combined with anything else. The basis is the publisher's legitimate interest in operating a secure website, and there is no realistic alternative way to run one.

Emails are held for the obvious reason: to read what you sent and reply to it. Where a message concerns a correction, the message is also the record of why a page was changed.

No information from either category is used for marketing. There is no marketing list, and one will not be created without this policy changing first.

4. How long each category is kept

Server logs: retained by the hosting provider for 30 days from the date of the request, then deleted in the ordinary rotation. Where a specific log entry is preserved because it forms part of a security investigation, it is kept for the duration of that investigation and for no more than 12 months.
Email correspondence: retained for 24 months from the date of the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Correspondence forming part of a legal or regulatory matter is kept until that matter is concluded.

5. Who else sees it, including overseas

Two third parties are involved in the operation of this site, and no others.

The hosting provider operates the server that stores these pages and generates the logs described above. It processes that data on the publisher's instructions in order to provide hosting.

Google receives a request when your browser loads the web fonts used for this site's typography. That request necessarily discloses your IP address and user agent to Google, as it would for any resource fetched from another domain. No cookie is set by that request and no identifier is passed with it. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cross-border disclosure. Both recipients are located outside Australia, and the publisher itself is established in the Czech Republic. Reading this site therefore involves the disclosure of the information described in section 2 to recipients outside Australia, within the meaning of Australian Privacy Principle 8. That disclosure is inherent in the site being hosted outside Australia and cannot be avoided while continuing to read it. The countries involved are the Czech Republic and, for the hosting provider and Google, the jurisdictions in which their infrastructure operates, which include the European Union and the United States.

No information is sold, rented, exchanged or disclosed to advertisers, data brokers or anyone else. The advertising arrangement described in the affiliate disclosure involves no transfer of reader data from this site: the paid link is an ordinary link, and what happens after you follow it is governed by the destination site's own privacy policy, not this one.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. The site is static: there is no database, no content management system, no login and no user-generated content, which removes most of the routes by which a website is ordinarily compromised. Access to the hosting account and the mailbox is limited to the publisher and protected by multi-factor authentication.

7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

You may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. In practice the only information that could be held about an identifiable person is an email exchange, plus log entries that may include your IP address.

Write to info@veloxnetwork.online. A request is answered within 30 days. To locate log entries, an approximate date and the IP address used is needed, since there is no other way to find them.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which oversees the Privacy Act and handles privacy complaints. Its guidance and complaint process are at oaic.gov.au. The OAIC expects you to raise the matter with the organisation first, which is why the address above comes first here.

8. Data breaches

If a breach of the information described in this policy occurs and it is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose information is involved, affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner will be notified in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, as quickly as the facts can be established.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, collects nothing from anyone regardless of age, and has no feature a child could use to submit information. Guidance written for families about online games is at the eSafety Commissioner.

10. Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this policy changes first. Any new technology that collects information — an analytics tag, a form, a cookie of any kind — will be described here, and where consent is required it will be obtained before the technology goes live rather than after. The effective date at the top of this page marks the current version, and superseded versions are not left in circulation.

The publisher is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing, and equivalent United Kingdom rules apply to readers there.

The legal basis relied on for server logs is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating and securing a website, balanced against the limited nature of the data and the short retention period. The basis for handling correspondence is legitimate interests in answering the person who wrote. Consent is relied on for nothing, because the site sets no cookies and runs no non-essential technology for which consent could be required.

Where the GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests go to the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), and in other countries, the authority for your place of residence.
